What I'm Working On Now

What I'm focused on right now — following the nownownow.com convention.

Current Projects & Focus

DevSecOps engineering at Tesserent (Thales) — hardening cloud-native CI/CD pipelines, container supply-chain verification, and automated security guardrails. Outside work, iterating on Ringmate (AI voice receptionist for Australian tradies) and PodBench (ComfyUI workflow library + RunPod launcher), plus migrating this site onto Astro + EmDash CMS on Cloudflare.

Learning & Exploring

Deep-diving into Cloudflare Workers isolates, D1 read-replication & session consistency, Model Context Protocol (MCP) security boundaries, and low-latency voice turn-taking with Gemini Live.

Reading

Designing Data-Intensive Applications (re-read on consensus & replication), NIST SP 800-204D (Software Supply Chain Security in DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines), and papers on speculative decoding for tool-calling LLMs.

Day Job — DevSecOps at Tesserent (Thales)

Since February 2024 I've been working as a DevSecOps Engineer at Tesserent (part of Thales Group) in Melbourne. My focus is on cloud security architecture, hardened CI/CD pipelines, container runtime policy enforcement, and making security checks fast enough that engineering teams actually keep them turned on.

After-Hours Building

I ship personal tools constantly—mostly where LLM agents, voice pipelines, or GPU infrastructure meet practical workflow bottlenecks. Right now my main focus is refining Ringmate's call-qualification latency for Australian trade businesses and expanding PodBench's automated dependency resolver for ComfyUI.

Why a /now page?

An /about section tells you who someone is in general; a /now page tells you what they'd talk about if you bumped into them over a flat white in Melbourne this week. This page is stored in the EmDash 'pages' collection (slug: now) so I can update it directly from /_emdash/admin/ without redeploying.
