Bookmarks saved in self-hosted Linkding instances often sit disconnected from long-form engineering notes in Obsidian. Existing importers overwrite manual edits inside markdown files whenever a bookmark's metadata updates.
Idempotent Frontmatter Merge
The plugin tracks cursor timestamps against the Linkding REST API, updates YAML frontmatter properties deterministically without clobbering user annotations below the fold, and supports quick-search insertion via the Obsidian command palette.
